Summer Vacation Deals from American Airlines, Marriott

Big savings: The JW Marriott Cancun is among the hotels on sale this summer.


There have been so many summer vacation sales this season that I couldn’t resist sharing a couple more. So if you haven’t already packed to fly south, check this out:

Up to 40 Percent Off with Marriott Brands
JW Marriott, Renaissance Hotels and Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean are offering 40 percent off for stays through December 15, 2011. Choices include:

• JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa
• Casa Magna Marriott Cancun Resort
• Casa Magna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa

Special Fares from American Airlines
American Airlines is offering discounted fares on flights to Central America and Brazil. You need to purchase your tickets by June 12 and begin travel by September 27, 2011, with all travel complete by September 30. 

Sample fares include a $159 one-way rate between Miami and Guatemala City, $181 between Washington Dulles and San Pedro Sula, and $502 between Dallas/Fort Worth and Brasilia. You can check more fares by visiting American Airlines
