TRAVEL VIDEO: Granada, Nicaragua

Historic architecture is one of the most visual elements in Granada, Nicaragua. ©

One of Nicaragua’s historic and cultural gems; Granada is a laid-back place dotted with beautifully detailed architecture and infused with a relaxed, friendly vibe. This guest VIDEO from Mark Edward Studio highlights some of the allure of this small city — including lovely views of the cathedral, the horse-drawn carriages that shuttle travelers to local landmarks, and local crafts like handmade cigars. It’s no wonder that Granada continues to be one of the nation’s biggest tourism destinations for the kind of vacation where you can relax and soak in the slow pace and historic roots. (And it just happens to be one of my favorite places to visit in Central America.)
