LatinFlyer aims to be a valuable resource for anyone traveling around Latin America. So I’m always looking for story ideas and contributors who can lend their local know-how.

If you’d like to contribute, please contact me at MarkChesnut[at]

Here’s what I’m looking for:

• Story Ideas. Have an idea for a post that you’d like to see? Let me know! I’m looking for very specific story proposals about travel, life and culture in Latin America.

• Travelers, Expats and Locals to Interview. Are you just back from a trip to Latin America? Are you an expat making a living in Latin America? Or are you a born-and-bred local based in Latin America? Contact me if you’d be interested in doing a brief e-mail interview about a specific topic related to a Latin American destination.

• Writers, Photographers and Artists. Guest posts from people who can provide insight about travel to Latin America, or great images that represent the region, are always welcome.

• Custom and Sponsored Content. If you’re an advertiser or marketer (or working with one), please click on the “Advertise” section at the top of this page, for ideas about how we can work together.

    Mark hello

I am a British/French expat living in a penthouse in Rio de Janeiro and just wondered if you put on your site a personal appartement for rent.. This is a link to the appartment so that you can see it… It is not available all the time but at least 6/8 months a year..

The usual out of season rate is about 350/400 euros per night ( including the commisssion for the company or person renting it ) but I have put the price down as the appartement is available from the 25th November to 28th December but also for carnaval next year and from May to end of september next year.

    Any help would be useful

    Many thanks

    David Hayter
