AIRPLANE VIDEOS: Airliners & Plane Spotting in Rio de Janeiro

Fans of airliners (as well as travel to Brazil) will love this video and photo set, which features exciting photos and action shots of aircraft landing at Santos Dumont, the domestic Rio de Janeiro Airport that sits right in the city, next to the bay.

The approach and take-off patterns of planes flying into and out of this airport are especially exciting, as they breeze past the city’s mountain’s and skyline, sometimes appearing to almost perch on the old customs house in Rio de Janeiro bay.

Azul Airlines, TAM Airlines, Webjet, Gol Airlines and even a rare Varig sighting are among the airliners in this video and photo set, with Boeing 737, Airbus and Embraer aircraft among the star aircraft types.
