San Juan Continues to Expand its Chic Travel Options

La Concha, a Renaissance Resort, is one of San Juan’s hottest hotels.
My partner and I own a condo in San Juan, Puerto Rico (now available as a monthly rental, in case you’re interested!), so I visit this Caribbean hotspot at least two or three times a year to make sure it’s in working order. This also gives me the opportunity to keep up with the ever-changing hotel and dining options, and to write quite a bit about it.
My latest feature about San Juan has just appeared in the June issue of Business Traveler, the leading publication and Website in North America for international business travelers. The article is called “Star Bright: Puerto Rico’s capital wows travelers with and expanding array of chic hotels and fusion cuisine.” It might help you with some new ideas for your next visit.

You can find additional Puerto Rico travel info in my recent articles in the following publications:

• Caribbean Travel + Life (“Three Nights in Sizzling San Juan“)
• Vacation Agent and Agent@Home (“Selling San Juan’s Style“)

And don’t forget about my Puerto Rico coverage (including videos) on LatinFlyer.com:

And that’s not all. I’ll soon be posting new articles, photos and videos about Ponce (Puerto Rico’s lovely second city) as well as the lively Noche de San Juan, an annual tradition that involves plenty of alcohol, a night-time visit to the beach, and seven brave leaps (backwards) into the ocean. Stay tuned (and please do share your own questions and recommendations about Puerto Rico).
The Conrad Condado Plaza also serves up sleek style in the heart of San Juan’s Condado district.
